Information for Post 16 Providers – Longfield

We are keen to develop links with local post 16 provision to give our pupils the opportunity to explore their different options after Year 11.

Our Y11 Post-16 Options Evening, held annually in October, is an opportunity for providers to meet pupils and parents / carers individually and discuss suitable courses or apprenticeships.

However, we have other events across the five years that pupils attend Longfield Academy.

TECHNICAL AND FURTHER EDUCATION ACT 2017

Under this act, we are required to ensure there is an opportunity for a range of education and training providers to access pupils during the relevant phase of their education. This enables providers to inform pupils about approved technical education qualifications or apprenticeships.
