Armed Forces
All three of the armed forces offer apprenticeships to young people joining at 16, with the consent of their parents. Many Army apprenticeships are based at Harrogate with RAF and Navy placements taking place across the country. See Useful Links for further details.
Welbeck
Welbeck is a Defence Sixth Form College in Loughborough. It is a co-educational full boarding college, where students are funded by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) on a means tested basis. It offers an A level education to preselected students following a career as technical or engineering Officers within the armed forces or the MOD civil service.
